Every site I build starts with the people who'll use it — your customers and your team. Clear layouts, intuitive navigation, fast loading and content that speaks to the right person at exactly the right moment. Good design isn't just how it looks. It's how it works.
Interactive calculators and quote engines that give your customers an instant answer — and hand you a warm, qualified lead at the same moment. Automated emails, PDF quotes and CRM export are built in from the start, not bolted on as an afterthought.
CRM and CMS systems built around the way you actually work — not how an off-the-shelf platform thinks you should. Track customers, manage content, automate the repetitive jobs and run your business from a single system designed for you.
AI built into your site and systems where it genuinely helps — not where it's trendy. Intelligent search, automated responses, smart lead routing and conversational tools that save your team time and keep your customers moving without picking up the phone.
What I build
Every tool I build is API-centric — so it connects cleanly with your CRM, back-office or any platform you're already using. Your customer gets an instant, useful answer; you get a warm, qualified lead fed straight into your workflow. No back-and-forth emails, no manual quoting, no rekeying data.
From residential mortgages to commercial lending — each calculator captures a live, qualified lead the moment a customer gets their answer. No forms to fill later, no drop-off. The enquiry arrives with the numbers already done, so your advisers can focus on converting, not calculating.
Give buyers an instant repayment figure based on rate, term and deposit. Turns browsers into serious enquiries.
Let customers build their deal in real time. Reduces drop-off and delivers pre-qualified leads to your team.
Rental yield, stress test, maximum borrowing — give landlords the numbers they need to decide quickly.
Monthly interest, total cost, net loan — clear bridging figures that move clients to application sooner.
Show clients what they could release against existing equity. Opens the conversation without a phone call.
Tailored to commercial lending complexity — LTV, rate types, term structures — built around adviser workflows.
A quote engine does more than produce a number — it qualifies the lead, generates the document and triggers the follow-up, all without anyone lifting a finger. From the moment a customer submits, your pipeline is already moving.
Customers configure and receive a branded quote in real time. By the time they submit, they're already sold.
Screen leads before they reach your team. Smart logic routes customers to the right product automatically.
Every completed quote generates a branded PDF. Ready to send, save or sign — no manual formatting needed.
Follow-up emails trigger the instant a quote is generated. Confirmations and summaries sent automatically.
Dynamic outputs that adapt to what the user tells the engine. Context-aware results beyond static calculation.
Quote data flows into your CRM, inbox and payment tools the moment a customer submits. No manual import.
Every tool I build is designed to slot into your existing setup — not replace it. Whether it's your website, your CRM or a third-party platform, the integration is handled from day one so data flows where it needs to, without anyone doing it manually.
Embedded directly into your existing site, matching your brand and layout. No iframes, no separate platforms.
Lead data lands in your CRM the moment a form is submitted. No copy-paste, no manual import, no delay.
Built API-first so they connect cleanly with any back-office system, data source or third-party service.
Intelligent flows that adapt to what the user tells the engine. Conversational, context-aware at scale.
Automated confirmations, summaries and follow-ups sent instantly. Appointments booked without any manual step.
Take deposits or full payment at the point of quote. Connects to all major payment gateways out of the box.
Every website I build is engineered around the people who use it — your customers and your team. Responsive on every device, fast to load and easy to manage, they're built to look great and work harder. Here's what that means in practice.
Designed from scratch to reflect your brand and speak to your audience. No templates, no off-the-shelf themes.
Fully responsive on every device — desktop, tablet and mobile — with no extra cost and no compromise on quality.
Built with search in mind from the start — structure, speed, metadata and local SEO all handled as part of the build.
Update your own content without touching code. A clean, straightforward CMS so your team can make changes in minutes.
Optimised for fast loading from day one — images compressed, code clean, hosting configured for speed and reliability.
I don't disappear after launch. Support packages keep your site running, updated and performing long after go-live.
A bespoke CRM or CMS isn't just a database — it's a system built around exactly how your business operates. Track customers, manage content, automate the jobs that eat your day and make decisions from real data. Here's what one can do for you.
A full view of every customer, lead and relationship in one place — built around how your team actually works, not a generic model.
Track every deal from first enquiry to completion. See what's stalling, what's moving and what needs attention at a glance.
Manage your website content from the same system. Pages, posts, products and media — all in one admin area your team can use.
Real data about what's actually happening in your business — leads, conversions, revenue — in a dashboard built for your KPIs.
Multiple team members, different roles and permissions. Everyone sees what they need and nothing they shouldn't.
Automate the repetitive jobs — emails, reminders, status updates and data entry — so your team focuses on the work that matters.

Design.
Your website, your calculator and your CRM all share the same visual language — the same colours, typography and tone. Your customers never feel like they've left your brand, no matter where they are in the journey. When everything looks and feels like one thing, trust builds faster.
Journey.
When a customer completes a calculator, that lead lands directly in your CRM. No copy-paste, no spreadsheet handoff, no lost enquiries between tools. The data moves without anyone touching it — so your team picks up exactly where the customer left off, with everything they need already there.
Users.
Everything is designed from the customer's point of view — how they search, what they need to know and what makes them convert. Not around how an off-the-shelf template thinks a website should work. The result is a smoother experience for them, and better results for you.
Working together
With nearly thirty years across every part of design, I build websites, calculators, quote and decisioning engines and bespoke CRM systems that genuinely work for your business — and I do it without baffling you with tech. Here's exactly what that looks like in practice.
01 / Discovery & direction
Website, tool, system, or all three — I ask the right questions. For bespoke work this means a proper discovery conversation to understand how you actually operate. We agree scope, a realistic timeline and payment schedule before a line of code is written.
02 / Build & review
Once designs are agreed, I start building and share a live link from day one. You can review progress, leave notes and sign off deliverables as we go — no waiting until the end to see what you're getting, and no surprises on delivery.
03 / Test & iterate
As the build progresses we test on real devices, review with fresh eyes and refine as needed. Making sure it works properly for your customers and your team is as important as how it looks — both have to be right before anything goes live.
04 / Launch & analyse
We publish, migrate to your hosting (or I set one up if you need it), and once you're live I don't just walk away. I track performance against the goals we agreed at the start, so we know exactly what's working and what to adjust.
Pricing
Full transparency is key to any successful project. Websites come as fixed packages so you know exactly where you stand. Calculators and bespoke systems vary too much for a flat price, so those start "from" — and I'll give you a firm quote after a quick chat.

Questions
You quite rightly have questions — these are big decisions for your business. If yours isn't answered here, please just reach out.
Around 4–6 weeks from start to finish, provided I have everything I need from you.
A standalone calculator is usually 1–3 weeks. Bespoke systems vary with complexity — I'll give you a realistic timeline at the end of our discovery session, before any work starts.
Yes — fully responsive on every device, at no extra cost. The same goes for the calculators and systems I build.
Yes. I build on WordPress, so you can edit content yourself without touching code. Bespoke systems come with a clear admin area and training so you're never reliant on me for day-to-day changes.
You do — completely. The system, the content and the data are yours. I build it for your business, not to lock you in.
Usually, yes — email, payments, calendars, spreadsheets and many other services can be integrated. Tell me what you use and I'll confirm what's possible.
A calculator gives your customer an instant answer — a repayment figure, a price, an estimate. A quote engine does that and then keeps working: it generates a branded PDF, triggers a follow-up email to the customer and your team, exports the lead to your CRM and can apply AI logic to personalise the output. Both capture the lead — the quote engine automates everything that happens next.
Yes. I'll source and licence images so you don't need a photographer, and I'm happy to write your copy too if you'd like.
I'll usually host it, buy your domain, set up emails and SSL — you don't need to lift a finger. I cover hosting and the domain for the first year, then invoice once a year (around £180) for renewal.
I offer maintenance and support packages from 1 to 10 hours a month — we'll find one that fits.
Yes — full SEO is included in the Gold and Platinum website packages, and in all three CRM / system bundles. The Silver package includes the technical foundations (clean code, fast loading, correct structure) so you're not starting from zero. SEO is an ongoing commitment, but I'll always set you up on the right foot from day one.
Yes. Websites can be split into two — a 30% deposit once we've agreed terms, then 70% on completion. Larger system builds are staged across agreed milestones.
Yes — AI can be built directly into calculators, quote engines, CRM systems and websites. Smart recommendations, natural language inputs, automated decision logic and intelligent lead routing are all possible. I build AI where it genuinely adds value, not just for show.
Yes — all three CRM / system packages (Starter, Professional and Enterprise) include a bespoke website as part of the build. The website, the system and any calculators or tools are designed together from the start, so everything shares the same design language and data model. You don't need to buy a website separately.
Feedback received
Recommendations gathered over the years from the people on the other side of the work — chief officers, product directors, design leads and engineers. Different companies, different briefs, but the themes recur: clarity under pressure, design that holds up after launch, and someone equally at home in a stakeholder room or deep in the detail. Their words, not mine.
Leon has led a wide range of transformation initiatives across systems, process and governance. He combines genuine diligence with strong product judgement and a clear solution-orientated mindset. He is equally comfortable rolling up his sleeves to resolve detail-level issues as he is operating in senior forums, where he communicates with clarity and confidence.
Leon is a driving force for change with the ability to translate business requirements into best in class UX. A passion for excellence is abundantly clear which, when aligned to his collaborative approach, outputs always exceed expectations. Leon is comfortable working to tight deadlines within high change environments applying the principles of agile implementation.
It pains me to say this because I want to keep Leon all to myself, but I cannot recommend him enough. A calm, composed influence within the team, bringing structure to the UX design process, and the end product — what can I say. There's no hipster, trendy stuff here; this is solid, well thought out design where everything serves a purpose.
Leon has a passion and dedication for his work which I have seldom seen or experienced in other colleagues. A track record for consistent high quality delivery against demanding timescales and always looking to innovate. A leader and role model for his team in the field of UX, always challenging them to learn new skills. Never afraid to speak his mind and challenge the status quo, but always focused on delivery.
Leon worked on the design of a web-app which was being rearchitected to run as a Single Page Application. Leon's focus extended well past the pure UI into the user journeys, and overall UX, culminating in a much cleaner, much more user-friendly application. His approach of working directly with the end users to understand their pain points allowed us to focus on what was important to them, aiding adoption and resulting in a product that runs on over 90% of devices.
Leon brought a wide range of UX and UI Design experience to TrakCel and over the term of a short contract was able to quickly engage with the team and went beyond expectations in delivering benefit to the design of the product and influence to the future direction of UX, design and development in the organisation. The experience, team-orientation and urgency that Leon brings to his work would be a welcome addition in any product team.
Leon came into Hills to head up the visual design team. He performed exceptionally in hiring and managing the team, while delivering the high quality of work the business needed. At the same time he built strong relationships across the business and worked effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and peers. He would be an asset to any digital business.
Leon provides me with nothing but support and guidance when I need it. He passes down his wealth of User Experience and Design knowledge for which I will be grateful. His management skills are very good and has built a culture where my colleagues and I can thrive. I wouldn't hesitate giving Leon my full recommendation to anyone.
I have worked with Leon directly, he supported me on product launches; he has essentially dressed the shop window for the company. To this end, Leon has been spectacular. I quickly learned to be less prescriptive and let Leon's experience and creative flair provide relevant, current and workable solutions. Leon has always provided forward looking solutions which extend beyond the current project.
Leon was instrumental to our ability to deliver a high quality product to the market. He first identified gaps in existing UX processes, then provided an end-to-end solution to improve understanding of business requirements and communicating final designs to development teams. His expertise in UI/UX is self-evident, and on top of this he is an excellent collaborator, communicator, organised, and does what he says.
I had the pleasure of working with Leon at CWT, where he significantly improved our UX-to-development handoff. By implementing a Material UI design system and driving full adoption across design and engineering, he brought consistency, clarity, and scalability to our workflow. This streamlined delivery, reduced rework, and improved collaboration between teams. Leon's ability to align design with real-world implementation had a clear and lasting impact on how we build products.
Leon is a great addition to any team and I couldn't recommend him enough. During a short-term contract, he successfully designed and delivered a high-quality customer portal that put our customer's needs at the forefront, and improved our design to developer handoff process. Leon brings with him a wealth of UX and UI experience which he is always happy to share.
